At the heart of the teachings that a Buddhist tradition such as the Kagyu school passes on in its more than 1000-year-old lineage are the wisdom teachings of its great masters. The generic term for a special type of profound views and teachings is ‘Mahamudra’, the ‘Great Seal’. In this course, Acharya Lama Kelzang Wangdi introduces beginners and advanced students to these profound teachings.

The Bardo teachings, a presentation of the intermediate states (Tib. Bardo) in which the existence of all living beings occurs, are a core part of Tibetan Buddhism. Hardly any other world religion knows such a differentiated, coherent and at the same time profound presentation of the interaction - and detachment - of mind and body in life, in the dying process and beyond death.
